Our goal is to contribute to a more inclusive environment.

To facilitate personalized searches, accessaloo offers the following features:

The inspiration for accessaloo originated from our work with Disabled Accessible Travel, a service dedicated to providing accessible transfer and travel options for individuals with reduced mobility. While our services foster stress-free travel experiences, we identified a specific gap: reliable information on accessible toilets.

We believe that outings such as enjoying coffee, dining out, or sightseeing should prioritize enjoyment—sharing moments with friends and family, exploring cultures, relaxing—rather than concerns over finding suitable amenities. This prompted us to develop a tool that empowers users to locate accessible toilets conveniently while on the move. The feedback from inquiries about destinations like the Sagrada Família in Barcelona or the Colosseum in Rome underscored the need for such a resource.

Thus, accessaloo was created to support our mission of enabling fully stress-free travel experiences through better accessibility information.

Based on our extensive experience, we recognize that individual needs related to disabilities and accessibility vary greatly. Consequently, visual content plays a crucial role in reviews, complementing textual information such as general requirements and personal notes. Photos provide users with a clearer understanding of whether a facility meets their specific needs, making accessaloo a distinctive resource.

Our focus is solely on the accessible toilet facilities themselves—not on promoting venues or establishments. All entries are contributed and rated by users worldwide, ensuring authenticity and relevance.

If each user contributes even five toilet listings within their community, the collective impact would significantly enhance accessibility information globally.
